McGuire Entrepreneurship Program

Quiz Promo

Named the "crown jewel" of the University of Arizona by USA Today/The Princeton Review, the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program is a national leader and globally-recognized program in entrepreneurship.

The McGuire Entrepreneurship Program is a year of intensive experiential education that culminates in students imagining, developing and pitching a viable, comprehensive plan for a new business venture.

The McGuire Program is centered on team-based creation through collaboration with individuals with different expertise, backgrounds and goals. To promote this rich learning environment, which mirrors the real-world landscape of collaboration and co-creation in the idea age economy, the McGuire Program actively recruits University of Arizona students from all fields of study. Each year’s class is selected through a competitive application process.

The McGuire Program illuminates the process of moving innovation from an early-stage idea to a sustainable investor-ready venture, complete with market analysis, detailed financials and a roll-out plan. The goal of the McGuire Center’s flagship program is to prepare students to successfully apply entrepreneurial principles in a range of environments.

Whether you want to start your own company, commercialize research, advance innovation in an existing company or be better equipped to develop ideas and solutions in your field, the McGuire Program will give you the training and experience you need.
