Last fall, Velocis team members traveled to Las Vegas to attend America's largest bike trade show, Interbike, where they talked to hundreds of retailers and manufacturers to understand the electric bicycle industry.
Micky Thompson (MBA ’10) grew up on a tobacco and cattle farm in Tennessee, and expected to operate it himself one day. Instead, he became a technology entrepreneur.

The Phoenix-based Arizona Center for Civic Leadership announced in March that Patrick Marcus is one of 25 fellows in the inaugural class of the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy.

Over the past five years, the winning ventures in the McGuire Center's year-end showcase and competition have all gone on to launch. Two of those alumnus-launched ventures, MSDx, Inc. and TruckItNow, Inc., are the recipients of Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) grants.
