The highly acclaimed McGuire Entrepreneurship Program will accept applications for the 2012-13 academic year.
Clayton Kammerer discusses his McGuire Experience:
The University of Arizona is home to a national leader and globally-recognized program in entrepreneurship—and that program is open to undergraduate senior, graduate, and doctoral students from the entire University. The McGuire Experience includes ongoing exposure, interaction, and collaboration with individuals from different backgrounds and with different areas of expertise and goals. To promote this rich learning environment, the program activity recruits students from all around the university. We have seats available in the following categories. Just click on the link for specific program and application information and schedule:
Undergraduate
- Entrepreneurship Major: open to Eller undergraduate business seniors (apply during junior year)
- Entrepreneurship Major with Honors Distinction: Open to Eller undergraduate Honors students
- Entrepreneurship Associates Certificate: open to all UA undergraduate seniors, university wide (excluding undergraduate business) (apply during junior year)
Masters
- Entrepreneurship Concentration: Open to Masters in Business Administration (apply during first year to participate during second year.
- Entrepreneurship Associates Certificate: Open to all UA Masters populations, university wide (apply in first year for participation in last year of masters program) and Eller Masters programs (including evening and accelerated MBA, Accounting, Finance, MIS).
Doctoral
- Applied Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation: All UA PhD students, university wide
Professional
- Non-degree seeking: Highly promising individuals from business community not currently enrolled in an academic program limited seats per year)

Whether you want to start your own company, commercialize research, work to advance innovation and ideas in an existing company, or simply be better equipped to advance ideas and solutions—The McGuire Entrepreneurship will give you the training and experience to apply entrepreneurial principles in any environment.
